Original pencil figural study of cowboy Shorty Lambert drawn by Bacon in 1911. Lambert was alledged to be the inspiration for the lead character in the recent film Hidalgo played by Viggo Mortensen. Matted and framed in a barnwood siding frame with inlaid cartridges on both sides. Size: 10 1/2-inches x 13 1/2-inches. 700 - 900
