Offered for sale is a framed page from a 1796 book depicting an architectural drawing of a bridge designed by Andrea Palladio. Just picked this up at a local auction. This piece was being sold by Esquire Galleries, for $375. From my on line investigation, I think this picture was titled Di Alcuni Ponit Celebri Edificati Cap. XI The Cert of Auth on the back reads: ....is an original engraving from Le Fabbriche E I Disegni by Andrea Palladio. This was illustrated by Da Ottavio Bertotti Scamozzi. The leaf was printed in Vicenza in 1796 AD. Measures: 14 1/2" x 16 1/2". This has never been hung. Please be sure to view the other Palladio currently listed.
