Thanks for looking at my auction! I have been an avid collector of all things relating to Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Rick Wright, and� Nick Mason for over 20 years. However, financial necessity is forcing me to sell off my collection bit by bit. I've sold all my vinyl, promo items, a lot of 20 Pink Floyd related VHS tapes, tour programs, rare posters and other items recently. The item up for bids is probably the rarest piece from my entire Pink Floyd collection. My collection was comprised of many many rare items, but this one is the rarest and, for me, hardest to get rid of. It is an actual piece of the famous Pink Floyd Airship from the 1994 Division Bell Tour . To make a long story short, Pink Floyd had a custom designed airship (formerly a MetLife blimp!) that they had with them for their entire tour. At the end of the tour when it was docked in North Carolina, a storm (not Thorgerson) tore through the area and completely destroyed the airship. The remains were to be carted off and destroyed, but a few enterprising North Carolinians offered to take the remains off the premises for free.
