Framed Signed Letter Kay Summersby Eisenhower Commanding General President Up for auction is a very rare piece of history. It is a framed letter from Kay Summersby (the secretart of General Eisenhaower). Also framed is the postmarked envelope and a photo of Kay with a dog. This letter is addressed from the Office of the Commanding General US forces, European Theater. The letter is watermarked IN CHINENPAPIER with an anchor. It postmarked by the US army postal service 757 August 9th, 1945. This letter is from Mr. Walter Popek who ran the Heyden chemical corporation in Garfield, New Jersey. Actually found out to be a German owner company, making gases and chemicals for the US forces. Passed by the base examiner 1033 Army examiner. The frame measures 19" x 17".
