Map fashioned with a large decorative title cartouche. explications inside the chart and along right lateral side. Date: 1823 Dimension: Printed area size approx.: cm 69,4 x 52,8 Paper size approx.: cm 73,9 x 55,8 Condition: Very strong a nd dark impression on very strong paper. Paper with chains and wiremarks. Original colors to the outlines. Wide margin to the top. Good lower margin. Wide lateral margins. Small tears. Small holes inside the chart. Small foxing and browning. Conditions are as you can see in the images. Cartographer: Louis Brion de la Tour (1756-1823) was the Cartographer Royal to the King of France, his official title being “Ingenieur-Geographe du Roi”.
