This is an old Frances Brundage Photo Album that actually has her signature painted at the bottom of the front cover. The front is painted with the lady and small angels in each right side corner. The bottom angel is holding a twig in a fire, the top angel is peering down from above. Each corner also has a raised imprint. The back is a greenish flowery velvet. The album is latched with a brass spring like catch. On the inside of the latch it is printed with PAT APPL? FOR ( I put a question mark because I'm not sure what the symbol is). Inside are at least twenty five pictures, I say at least because t may be others behind some of the prints. I am afraid to look because I don't want to damage anything. Some are from a studio in St. Louis and a couple are from Seattle, WA. I know this because the bottoms were poking out and I peeked at the wording. One loose picture in the back is a family portrait of the Regal families children??? I inherited this from my parents but was never told the history of it. I'm sure they are not my family members so please don't get upset thinking I am selling family heirlooms. I think my mother collected this because of its beauty. It sat on a corner table for many years. I believe it is valuable but only because i searched Ebay and saw others similar for close to $500.00. I believe the album is in excellent condition for its age. T is a slight bit of patina on the latch but it is fully operative. None of the pages are torn or missing (except one area w a picture slips in it is torn about one inch) and the front/back is really nice too. I took pictures of every page but Ebay only allowed me to upload 12, so if you want more then please email me to ask. Any more questions please ask...
