Up for auction is a Franciscan Masterpiece Renaissance china 5 piece place setting in grey. It has a beautiful grey and white floral pattern with gold trim. My mother bought it in 1958 or 1959 in a small gift shop named Heirlooms in downtown Manhattan, NYC. (The store has long since closed). The pattern, Renaissance, was retired in the 1970's. The set is in excellent condition. Some pieces may show very subtle signs of use, but nothing to be concerned about. T are no cracks or chips whatsoever. These were used very rarely. The underside has stamped in gold the following: "Renaissance - Gladding, McBean & Co. - Franciscan Masterpiece China - Made in U.S.A." Keep in mind, this china is not dishwasher safe. The 5 pieces include:1 Footed cup1 Saucer1 Dinner plate (10 5/8")1 Bread and butter plate (6 3/8")1 Salad plate (8 3/8")I saw these place settings for about $88.00 on some china replacement websites.I have more place settings that I will be listing. If you're interested, please check out my other auctions. I accept PayPal only and payment must be made within 7 days. I will ship to the continental U.S. and Canada only. Insurance is included. If you have any questions, I'd love to hear from you, so please don't hesitate to email me thru eBay. Some information regarding Gladding, McBean & Co .:Gladding, McBean & Co., began production
