NO CHIPS! NO CRAZING! Glossy, like new finish! Made 1949-1953 according to an Ebay guide for dating the mark shown. The decorator's number is on both the casserole and the lid. This was an estate find on the Eastern Shore of Maryland...an absolutely AMAZING piece that appears to have been never used. I have also listed the jelly jar and I will combine with a 10% off actual postage amt should you purchase both items. This 10" covered casserole in the beloved Franciscan APPLE pattern should be considered in EXCELLENT considering it is at least 70 years old! It looks brand new. Shiny, glossy finish. I do not see any crazing! NO chips or tiny nicks. There is a small factory flaw on the lid where the clear glaze did not fire on a tiny dot. NO scratches, appears to have never been used. The only thing missing is the original box!
