You are bidding on a VINTAGE FRANCISCAN DESERT ROSE INDIVIDUAL / DEMITASSE SUGAR BOWL, The Backstamp is the 1940 circular "Franciscan Ware Made in California USA ". This Sugar Bowl has also been hand scribed next to the Franciscan Stamp by the Artist. ( During the early 1940's the original Desert Rose pieces had Artists Signatures permanently etched while the pottery was still wet. By the mid 1940's this was discontinued as a cost saving measure.) The Demitasse Sugar Bowl is 2" high, 3 1/4" diameter, Cream Color with the Embossed Hand Decorated Desert Rose Pattern. It is nearly 70 years old and in EXCELLENT condition, any "white spots" in pictures are a result of camera flash. Please note; Franciscan designed the Individual Sugar as an "open" Bowl, it was not intended to have a lid. I will be Listing a number of additional pieces from the 1940 - 1946 era in the upcoming weeks. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost.
