This lovely carafe is from Franciscan Pottery's El Patio line. Lehner's U.S. Marks dates the piece to 1949-1953.For accuracy a very slight glaze scuff on the lid w it seats in the carafe opening, and an extremely tight stress hairline nearby likely happened in the making (see photo). Otherwise no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Very nice carafe with the often missing lid. Approx. 7" high unlidded. Marked Franciscan Made in California .
