Desert Rose 11 3/4" Round Platter Chop Plate 1940's Vintage Franciscan Desert Rose China California Pottery U.S.A. Backstamp No Reserve This listing includes: One Desert Rose round serving platter / chop plate. This measures about 11 3/4" across and weighs three pounds. The marks are shown in the photos. The backstamp is a little blurry but reads: Hand Decorated Franciscan Ware Made In California so it was made in the U.S.A. T are many good ebay guides on the backstamps and dates that say this mark was used from 1949 to 1953. I will be listing all pieces seen in my group photo below at 99 cents with No Reserve plus actual cost shipping. I always pack safe and will be happy to combine items for added savings. T are some very nice pieces that will be fun to add to your set. The listings will include the auction title pieces only and group photo is just for a quick peek.
Condition Notes: Excellent vintage, used and preowned condition with NO cracks, chips or crazing. No serious damage other than some scratches and utensil marks. Another very nice piece and be sure to see the others too!
