Original dust jacket in archival cover.My research tells me that Little, Brown Company dated, in that year, their first editions on the title page; 1939 on title page, "published March 1939" on verso or copyright page as shown. Condition of Book : Remarkably Good Condition. Cover and pages clean and complete in this copy as shown in photos. Right front corner is slightly bumped. There is no shelf wear at all to the boards. The book itself is square, tight and sturdy. Very lightly read. The paper edges are slightly darkened from age as shown.Former owner's name and year ( dated 1939) in ink on front flyleaf.Condition Of DJ : The dust jacket is worn on the edges and folds with chips and small tears as you can see by the photos , but it is not price-clipped!
