This is an undated Billy West sample strip by Frank Godwin. I believe it probably dates from the early 1940s or so. It is unsigned. It is designated "A-12" in the lower left-hand corner. If you are interested in learning more about the Billy West strips, you should look at my blog that deals with Frank Godwin. There is a long post there about the strip. I have temporarily moved the post to the front page of the blog. You can easily find the blog if you search on Google for: Frank Godwin Tom Sawyer The strip is positively gigantic. Including margins, it is about 8 inches by about 29 inches. That's perhaps about 9 inches longer than a somewhat typical Rusty Riley daily. Condition: Overall acceptable; some defects, including grubbiness around the edges. But it appears to me that Billy West strips almost never come up for sale. This would look great if it were matted and framed. Shipping: FREE! USA participants only, on this listing. PayPal only. Sales tax of 8 percent will be added to California purchases. Thanks for checking this listing. --Tom Sawyer
