You are bidding on an original, Brand New, First Quality ceramic art tile made by MOTAWI Tileworks of Ann Arbor, Michigan, as part of their new line of officially licensed FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT Designs. The tile is an 8" by 8" Polychrome of the "March Balloons" series (Oak Colorway), which are directly taken from drawings made in 1927 by Mr. Wright for use as a cover of Liberty Magazine- although it was never published - but Wright later incorporated it into one of his carpet designs. This is an amazingly vibrant polychrome, as can be seen in my photo. The tile is UNFRAMED, and generally retails for $143. Please note that these tiles are officially licensed by the estate of Frank Lloyd Wright, are unavailable in any other form, and are made by Motawi due to the high level of quality put into their pieces.Motawi Tileworks is a family-run studio located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is famous for their faithful renditions of Arts and Crafts style designs, with each tile being formed and glazed by the hands of talented artisans and carefully inspected for defects prior to sale (As noted above, this and my other current auctions of Motawi Tiles are ALL FIRST QUALITY : many other ebay sellers purchase imperfect "factory seconds" and remove the "Second" mark from the back, and this difference in quality is a very important matter for serious
