Four vintage prints by Frank Tenney Johnson, re-knowned cowboy artist from the first part of the Twentieth Century. These are all approximately 14.5" x 19" with some variation. They may have been from a calendar but I am not sure of their origin. They show a little edge wear with a couple short closed tears here and there and the print showing the cowboy smoking atop a white horse by himself has a few small spots on the print. Only one of the prints shows a publisher name. It is credited to Western Litho Company. All the paintings in the images are dated 1938, the last year of his life, so I assume that is about the time these were printed as well. One of the prints is a little off register when it was cut. You can see borders at the edges on top and bottom that are slightly askew. This might have been a printed frame around the image. If so, then it is all but trimmed away. These are really nice quality western prints that I think should stay together so I am offering them only as a group for now. If you are only interested in one or two then check back next week. If they don't sell I may offer them individually at that time. They are all mounted individually on foam core board with clear acetate plastic wrap and will be shipped flat as they are shown.
