Illustrated with seven inserted plates with stills from the film. Published to accompany the 1931 Universal Pictures film starring Boris Karloff, who appears on the upper panel of the dust wrapper. A stunning VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ copy, the red boards and green top stain unfaded, the binding square and tight and the contents without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ FACSIMILE'/REPRODUCTION OF THE original design dust wrapper. corners mildly bumped but still remain sharp, spine is tight with a clean interior and all pages fanning easily, hinges in good shape with minor cracking to front inside hinge, really great color to front and back cover and blind stamped letter BOLD. An exceptional example. The most beautiful copy I have ever owned. A must have collectable or gift with Christmas on its way.
