Make an Offer No Reasonable Offer will be Refused This Christmas Card to my family is from Eleanor Roosevelt after she was First Lady and wife of Franklin D. Roosevelt. It pictures Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor when he was President with the extensive Roosevelt family. I'm sorry I do not have the envelope as it has been misplaced over the years so I am not able to recall what year we received this card. I believe it was the same year that President Roosevelt passed away which was 1945. This has been in storage with my family since it's receipt and is in excellant condition . The card is minimally discolored. The picture on the card is very clear and is in perfect condition. This is a digital picture of this card and I couldn't get the picture any clearer. This is an authentic piece of History as it has been in my family since it's receipt. My Father was a State Trooper who was shot in the line of duty and became very good friends with Mrs. Roosevelt from the early 1930's until her death in 1962. She offered her Doctors for surgery and a place in her home for my Father to be treated during his recovery. If it wasn't for Eleanor Roosevelt my Father would have lost his hand.
