Franklin Mint 1960 Chevy Impala Sport Coupe 1:24 Description For your consideration, I have for bid a very clean Franklin Mint 1960 Chevy Impala Sport Coupe. Car comes with Franklin Mint tag still attached. Includes styrofoam inner box and cardboard outer box. Sorry car does not have any paperwork. Makes a nice addition to any Chevrolet collection. It was the car we all wanted. Outselling the competition to gain Chevrolet® a title it still holds today: U.S.A. #1! It had four headlights, six taillights, and plenty of room for the kids and all their gear. Plus a racy look symbolized by the bold "missile" designs streaking along the quarter panels. Complete with oval grille, dual antennas, cavernous trunk, wraparound windshield, giant rear window and fluted rear-fender side scoops. And, of course, those intriguing rear fins...a story in themselves. During the late Fifties, Chevrolet cars featured striking, delta-like "batwings." But for the 1960 Impala, they were far more subdued, referred to as "Seagull Wings"! Style and substance. Elegance and economy. The 1960 Chevy® Impala™.
