I am excited to offer up for auction to you a wonderful, never removed from the box, Franklin Mint Precision Model of the 1969 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle. "The coolest thing on wheels in the '60s." I purchased this wonderful classic, still having its original factory tape on the Styrofoam packaging. I, myself, opened it to ensure that is was there and intact. It is. As you can see in the pictures, as I separated the Styrofoam packaging, the sponge is still there over the handle bars as well as all parts are still in original packaging. Without further ado, I will quote from the box for I can not write a better description of this beauty myself.
Engine detail so precise that even the smallest elements stand out in perfect clarity
Hand-painted in the original factory Torch Red color, it's richly chrome-finished.
Your model is assembled by hand from more than 116 separate parts.
Each part is hand trimmed and placed for the tight fit--a hallmark of the fine precision models.
The handlebars turn and the wheels spin.
The seat lifts off so you can access the battery.
The kickstand goes up and down...the brake pedals and gear shift pivot...and the independent suspension is full operational.
Also included, scale-size helmet and goggles.
You will also receive a reproduction of the original owner's manual.
