FRANKLIN MINT 1/24 1933 DUESENBERG SJ 20 TWENTY GRAND TORPEDO PHAETON BY ROLSTON The most luxurious Duesenberg ever, the world knew it as the 20 Grand because that was the sticker price back in 1933! Up for auction is a Franklin Mint 1933 Duesenberg SJ 20 Grand diecast car Amazing details all around including an outstanding Champagne Silver paint job (Franklin was not known for outstanding paint on their earlier models but this one really hit the mark!), that faithfully recreated Supercharged 420 cid straight-8 320hp Duesy engine, the "armchair" type seats, legible instrument panels in front and back, fully detailed suspension and drivetrain. Franklin Mint did a great job with this 1933 Duesenberg SJ 20 recreation. Check out the polished stainless steel tubing covering the exposed exhaust pipes, the aerodynamically slanted windscreen, and that awesome two-tone burl walnut with silver inlay interior trim. With Franklin essentially halting its diecast production, this Duesenberg SJ 20 will certainly go up in value. Limited production Long since sold out and retired from Franklin
