Offered in this listing is a Franklin Mint sterling silver plate. This plate is an official issue of the National Audobon Society, issued in 1972. The artwork of the wood duck was done by James Landsdowne. The plate comes in it's original grain-textured box. T is also another box to hold the first box. T is a pamphlet on the artist, James Landsdowne. It seems that t should have been another insert in the box to hold the plate, however, t is nothing like this in the box. The plate is in very good condition. According to the literature t is a protective coating over the silver to protect it. Included is the Certificate of Authenticity. Serial number on the reverse side of the plate is 2714. Please ask questions before bidding. See the other Franklin Mint plate we have just listed, the Ruffled Grouse. Selling with no reserve.
