This High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Humvee) has assumed the military role previously filled by Jeep and is produced in several configurations: command and control systems, field ambulance, ammunition and troop and general cargo transport. Optional equipment includes a winch and supplemental armor. Variant armament carriers provide mounting and firing capabilities for heavy machine guns. The Humvee is equipped with a high performance diesel engine, automatic transmission and four wheel drive and is air transportable and droppable from a variety of aircraft. New condition.
