This auction is for a complete Franklin Mint Civil War Chess set complete with the original board and booklets for the chess pieces. The booklets are short histories about the characters used as the playing pieces. The board is in excellent condition with only minor scratches as seen in the photos. The pieces have been used but still have all of there felt bottoms. None of the pieces are broken. The piece store nicely in the chess board!
