Up for sale is the wooden chess board from the Franklin Mint Civil War Chess set from 1983. This chess board opens up to house the chess pieces from this game (not included) when you are not playing this game. The board is wooden trimmed and features blue and grey leather squares on the playing surface. This set is used but in good condition, with some chips in the wooden frame as shown and some wear on the playing surface. Despite this wear, this board would make a great replacement for an existing set, or would add an exciting element to a standard chess set. Be sure to check out our other listings as we have some additional chess pieces and booklets from this set available for sale.
