Isis was issued by Franklin Mint in the 90's.This revered goddess is shown again in an original sculpture inspired by Erte's original design. A fantastic masterpiece combining the rich artistry of Egypt with the fabulous extravagance of Art Deco, Isis was crafted of hand-painted fine porcelain with stunning hand-painted accents of 24-karat gold, brilliant touches of platinum, dazzling sterling silver (this chain decoration needs to be cleaned with silver polish), radiant faux pearls, and a genuine onyx. A work of grandeur and opulence, Isis is a stunning collector's treasure, presented by the House of Erte and was available only from (now defunct!)Franklin Mint. She was issued in a hand-numbered Limited Edition that was closed forever after just 45 firing days. This one is very hard to find! Limited Edition No. A1727. She comes with her original Certificate of Authenticity. Nearly perfect, except for two tiny fingers on the left hand have been broken off (nobody would admit to doing this to Grammie's treasure!), but I think a ceramic doll repair person could easily mend this tiny flaw. Other than that, this piece is perfect and beautiful and standing over 11 inches tall! I will notify winners within three days after the auction ends. Payment must be made within seven days after the auction ends. If I have not received payment within 10 days after the end of the auction, the item will be re-listed without notice, and it is possible that feedback other than positive may be left - I have never left anything other than positive feedback up to now - I have the BEST buyers! ONLY PAYPAL OR INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AS PAYMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES. For domestic purchases, I PREFER PAYPAL, but I also accept money orders, cashier's checks, or personal checks. For any payment other than PayPal, the item will not be shipped until the payment has cleared my bank. I ship as soon as payment is received and processed. I ship either UPS, DHL, or USPS, whichever is less, and I include a very small, honest handling charge (for shipping supplies). Unless I specify differently, you can calculate different methods of shipping charges yourself. If you choose not to pay for postal insurance, I will not be responsible for the item once it leaves my possession. I will combine shipping charges on multiple purchases to save you a little money! I make every effort to describe an item exactly as it is. All measurements are approximate. I will gladly refund your money if the item is not as I described - no refunds if you get the item and decide that you do not like it, etc. In such cases, all sales are final. To return an item, simply notify me via e-mail within 3 days of receiving the item, and return it with 7 days of receipt. Buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges. All items that I sell are from a smoke-free home. I will leave positive feedback when your payment is processed and the transaction comes to a successful close. Please do the same for me.
