You are bidding on a Franklin Mint Commemorative John Wayne Colt .45 replica revolver with holster. This is not a cap gun. This gun does not and can not be made to fire. This single-action replica is authorized by the Wayne family. This gun is engraved with serial number 151284 and PAT Sept 19 1871, July 2 1872 and Jan 19 1875. It matches the gun that John Wayne carried in many of his movies. This commemorative bears John Waynes signature on the back of the grip, 6 horses and a stagecoach engraved on the barrel and an eagle carrying the american flag on the ivory colored left grip. It has been embellished with oak leaf scrollwork design and 22 karat gold electroplated hammer, trigger and trigger guard. This gun is a beautiful tribute to The Duke and to the american west.
