Franklin Mint Marilyn Monroe vinyl doll MIB - "Happy Birthday Mr. President" You are looking at a gorgeous Franklin Mint Marilyn Monroe vinyl doll, never removed from box. Marilyn is dressed in the famous body-hugging nearly nude gown that she wore to a performance when John Kennedy was in the audience, and Marilyn sang her breathy version of “Happy Birthday Mr. President” to him. I watched that performance on TV – I was about twelve years old at the time. What an amazing show she put on! T are over 1300 aurora borealis beads on this gown! The doll is in perfect, new condition. Box has a few little dings, and t is a tiny ding on the black wooden stand, easily covered with a sharpie pen if you choose. Her face and hair are still covered with the protective netting and t is a microphone stand in the box as well. She is about 15 1/2" tall. This doll’s original retail price was $195.00. I have two other Marilyn Monroe Franklin Mint dolls listed this week, so please take a look.
