The Franklin Mint Seahorse is from their "Treasury of Carousel Art" Second Edition, 1990. He is made of beautifully hand painted porcelain and trimmed with 24 carat gold. He stands 6 1/2" tall on a shiny brass pole and felt-bottomed wood base. He is absolutely mint. It doesn't really show in the pictures, but the scales on his tale are somewhat 3-dimensional. This sea horse or hippocampus is an exciting replica of "Brandy," a rare carousel sea horse in the private collection at The International Museum of Carousel Art. "Brandy" was carved by the Dentzel company around 1885. A very pretty piece! PayPal and U.S. shipping only. Insurance mandatory unless stated otherwise. Buyer pays shipping based on zip code (calculate). Payment due within 3 days of close of auction. Horse will be well packed and shipped Priority Mail to minimize handling, stacking, etc. So bid with confidence and ENJOY! I combine shipping when possible. Will also accept money order or certified check for this item.
