FRANKLIN MINT SILVER DIAMOND LILY OF THE VALLEY EGG A terrific vintage solid sterling silver egg with silver gilt (solid silver with a gilt finish) lily of the valley pin surprise; beautifully made, with moving flowers and set with two sparkling diamonds. Housed in a silver gilt ribbed egg, with silver gilt flower over semi-translucent green vitreous enamel on a textured ground to the interior. By Franklin Mint. Very collectable! CONDITION : All original and very good. Slightest signs of wear, no damage. DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : English hallmark to pin and egg for B'ham 1977. Maker's marks FM. DIMENSIONS : Egg just over 3 inches tall, pin 54 x 36 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
