STAR TREK "Franklin Mint The Limited Edition Galaxy Globe " This globe is from Star Trek The Original Series from the episope 'The Immunity Syndrome'. This item is Very Rare! **Attention: Trekkies, Trekkers, People who love Star Trek or People who have Friends and Family who do.** The Holidays are quickly approaching and this item makes the Perfect Gift or the Perfect item to display or keep in the box and let its value continue to grow. The Limited Edition Galaxy Globe. Produced exclusively by Franklin Mint in 1993. This globe is very heavy because of it's Solid Marble Base, Solid Pewter Frame, and thick Glass Globe. On the top of the globe t is a Star Fleet Insignia which is accented in 24 karat Gold. The large sigle cell space creature illuminates with an eerie red glow when flipping the switch located on the back of the globe. The back of the globe also holds two AA batteries. This globe has been authorized and fully authenticated by Paramount Pictures. This item is in New In Box and come with its Original Styrofoam Packing and Original Box. This globe was NEVER displayed and was kept in it's original packing and box since it was purchased in 1993. The globe measures 8 inches wide by 8 inches by 7 inches deep and is very heavy. I tested the illumination function and it works perfectly. It will require 2 AA batteries.
