Presenting a RARE, Vintage, Signed FRED DAVIS Bracelet and Earring Set; SILVER, STUDDED WITH AMETHYSTS. These original pieces are circa 1930 and all pieces are signed with the correct hallmarks of "F" within a "D." Featuring hand-ground and polished amethyst cabochons, cupset in rows of high grade silver, with bars of silver separating the rows of amethyst, the bracelet is held together by hand made silver links, creating great movement and a luxurious feel on the wrist. The matching earrings also have great movement when worn. The bracelet is 7-1/2 inches long and over 1-1/2 inches wide. Push-in clasp closes securely and safety chain intact. The screw-back earrings are 1-3/4 inches from top to bottom and almost 3/4 inches wide. ALL THREE PIECES HALLMARKED F within a D. Together they weigh 98 grams. These pieces are in beautiful vintage condition. They have great patina and the expected light surface scratches on the silver with a few very minor flea bits to the amethysts. No missing or rough stones. A BEAUTIFUL SET! Any polishing of the silver will be left up to the new owner. Owning a piece of jewelry by Fred Davis is like owning a piece of history. One of the rarest finds of vintage Mexican silver, any collector could be very proud to own this gorgeous set! (See the book "MEXICAN SILVER" by Penny Chittim Morrill and Carole
