You are bidding on an original 1940's era painting by the late world famous Chicago Carny artist Fred Johnson. Bearded Lady Brenda Beatty confuses and confounds the men and women at the Turkish Bath in this hilarious banner by Johnson. The banner is in good condition with the wear one would find in a banner of its age. It is painted on heavy canvas. This banner is signed! Also see the other Brenda Beatty banner I now have listed on ebay. Measures 114x96" inches. The banner has had areas of restoration (see last photo) to cover paint that been spilled at some time, mainly near the bottom in the orange border. Beatty once had an engagement at Madson Square Garden that was raided by the vice squad not liking her female impersonation act. Beatty has a colorful history and this is a rare oringinal banner from her show. see the website for more info.
