Two late 19th century French funnel oil lamps. Approx 22" high. Picture one shows the two lamps side by side, both having the same green glass bottom half and base. Picture two shows the two different brass fitments. One is a Gaudard (made in France) and the other is A Kosmos Brenner. The fretwork around the glass funnel is different. The glass funnel on the Gaudard lamp has Special Recuit engraved on it - there is a very tiny nibble out of the glass at the top, but this is smooth to the touch so I think it is a flaw when made. The lamp with the Kosmos fitting has a small crack to the base. having said all that, both lamps display well. They are heavy because of the brass base.
