A pair of really attractive 19th century french gilt circular footstools standing on short cabriole legs . They are in untouched condition , the original silk coverings, obviously being rather delicate, have worn away to almost nothing ,but this gives the option to use either with a great 'shabby chic' authentic look or you can pop out the cushions and recover to your choice to suit decor . The floral decoration and colouring to the base of the stools is fantastic and condition overall is very good, there is some minor flaking and losses to the base (the worse 'chip' shown in photos ) and as stated the original silk is thin on one stool and all but gone on the other . They will look superb in the right setting ! Approx 28cms x 16cms Paypal , cheque , p.o. and returns accepted. Feel free to ask any questions or quote for overseas postage (within 48 hrs )
