FRENCH PRECISION FOUR SPYRAL SHAPE PILLAR PORTICO MANTEL CLOCK with GABLE ESCAPEMENT IN COMPETE ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED AND UNRESTORED CONDITION We proudly present you this absolutely rare French made Portico Clock. Look at the detailed pictures, they show you all from this rare mantel clock in excellent original condition. The wooden case with the four spyral shaped pillars is in excellent condition, as you also can see at the detailled pictures. The end of the columns have on the top and on the bottom fine fire gilded bronze finals. They are a part of the portico in between the original parch pendulum swings. All inlays are in very good condition. The fire gilded bronze parts are also in fantastic condition. THE COMPLETE CLOCK-CASE IS IN EXCELLENT UNTOUCHED; AND UNRESTORED CONDITION. THE WOOD IS NOT REFINISHED OR RESTORED, AND HAS THE NORMAL WEAR OF AGE !!!! The original enamel dial is invery good condition, but has some small typical hairlines. The dial shows an unreadable signature, and is framed by the original fire gilded bronze frame. The fire gilded bronze frame shows shell motives, and a lady face. The pendulums shows also shell motives. The hands are the original hands made of blued steel. The original movement is in fantastic condition. The master clockmaker has cleaned and overhauled it. It works well with the original pendulum, and strikes the half and the full hours ( hours will be counted ) on the original bronze bell. The original precision pendulum is made of fire gilded bronze, and is the original one for the clock. It is also in fantastic condition. Such a very rare Portico Spiral-Column Clock is an absolute highlight in every collection. The original old key comes with the clock.
