An authentic, true serving Plate of Alsace in the same stunning classic redware glaze as the grand pichets of this region from the 1830s-1850s.. This is one of the most beautiful Alsace redware plates that I found on this last trip. This exact genre is represented in Demey's book on 19thC Alsace Terre Vernissee. T is nothing but perfect, beautiful effects from the passage of true time and yet..in stunning condition. The detail is classic mid-19thC Alsace and the lignes circulaires around the rim attest to its authenticity. 10.5 inches d'Art Populaire Alsacien Formidable! The pictures say it all. Shop? $350
