French, deco period, centrally lidded smokers box with ashtray at either end. Very much in the style of Amphora with lovely hand painted, stylised floral lid and mottled grey and brown body. Signed by the artist, L. Dage and in very good condition. Measures 6 inches by 6 inches and the depth is 2 and a quarter inches. It is not damaged, cracked nor repaired in any way. The box was meant to contain cigarettes and the hollowed edges were meant as ashtrays as you can see the little hollows w you could place your lighted cigarette. With all the anti smoking campaigns, smoking accessories are becoming very collectable. Postage to the USA and Europe = $US20.00. Local shipping in Australia varies. I ship worldwide.
