Item Photos - free eBay image hosting This lot consists of a Blue & White ceramic French Art Deco clock with a nautical decorative theme. At its largest dimensions the clock measures 23.5cm tall; 15.5cm across and 7 cm deep. The clock face (including rim) measures 6.8cm approx' in diameter. The clock was manufactured in Orchies in the Department of Nord in France. The blue windmill stamp on the rear indicates a date of manufacture between 1900 and 1923 (see /en/orchies-marks ). The town of Orchies is twinned with Kelso in the Scottish Borders. So far as I can tell the clock is not working. The glass is complete and intact but there is some minor scratching as a result of age. There is also slight crazing on the actual clock face. The ceramic body is in good condition with only minor age crazing and no chips. There is a small pre-glaze flaw on the top. I have triedto describe this item accurately and to show images that indicate its true condition. If, however, you feel I have misrepresented it I will happily accept a return and will refund return postage. Also, if I have over-estimated the postage costs I will make a refund as necessary.
