22 (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, incised eye-liner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, waist-length brunette hand-tied human hair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, with arms jointing for throwing kisses, walking mechanism in legs that when moved forward and backward cause the doll to appear as though walking and to cry mama . Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru JneR 9. Comments: Bru, Girard epoch, circa 1892. Value Points: fine quality bisque with luminous patina, original body with kissing, walking and crying mechanisms, gorgeous original aqua and rose silk dress.
