Overall length of sword in scabbard measures 39 inches. Very fine condition blade shows around 85%blue and 95% gold on one side. Otherside shows 50% blue 75% gold. Blue line stops 10 3/16 inches from the top of blade. Extremely fancy ornate hilting. Guard shows shat looks to be Medusa, two eagle heads, and floral design. Top of guard looks to be an eagle head. Bottom of guard looks to be a lion head. Very fancy grip shows floral design and Medusa head. This hilting is extremely well made and finely detailed. Brass mounted leather scabbard has scabbard repair toward tip. A fascinating sword.
