Fabulous X-Large Bacchante Goddess French Bronze Garanti Paris This beautiful bronze Bacchante on marble base is ready for reveling! Female followers of Bacchus were called Bachante, and this one is bringing the fruit of the grape and a beautifully tempting presence in her fully feminine form. This is no less than average quality bronze from a country known for it's poor quality goods, it bears the foundry mark of Bronze Garanti Paris, a foundry of international renown for over 100 years. This bronze is of the highest quality, cast in the lost wax method. The figure measures at the furthest points approximately 23-3/4 inches high by 8inches wide by 7inches deep. The identity of all bidders in this auction will be kept private for their protection. Please do not be concerned because I do not yet have significant feedback for my store account. If something happens, please keep all packaging and boxes as well as the item itself, until completion of the claim process! Your claim may be dismissed if you do not have the evidence to substantiate it. That being said, it is very rare that I have had an item damaged, because of the extra care I take in packing. I have too often personally been disappointed upon receipt of a broken antique due to poor packaging, and believe that I am the steward of the old items. I do not want it on my conscience if one is ruined. Although it may cost a little more, and it takes much more time , the benefits have proven to be invaluable!
