DESCRIPTION: I have had some pieces of French art glass signed Schneider and also a few pieces signed Le Verre Francais. Although difficult to read, I believe this piece to be signed along the base edge Le Verre Francais. I will 100% guarantee this to be a vintage piece of signed cameo, as described. I will start it at $9.99, but if it does not receive any serious interest, I must pull the ad. The background is a matte red/rust color. The other dominant colors are deep mauve with green highlights, not unlike a verre de gris patina. This art deco era cabinet sized vase is a little treasure. I find no damage. A possible pinhead w the cutting was done. I will say this, t is no auctioneer that I've ever known that would call this anything other than excellent. This piece would look great in an Arts and Crafts setting. A fine, genuine acid cut piece of signed French art glass. Bid with confidence. CONDITION: No chips. No cracks.
