Charming French Handmade Doll's Bed

This little French treasure was evidently made for a lucky little girl perhaps by her 'Papa' or 'Grand-pere'.

Maybe she found it Christmas morning left under the tree by Pere Noel,

or perhaps it was a gift for her birthday.

In any case it is delightful and ready to thrill another little girl.

This little bed, when I found it, was fitted with a mattress covered in vintage fabric. I've added a little coverlet and pillow I made from scraps of 'toile de jouy' and bits of hand crocheted lace from an old pillow case. The bed itself is painted creamy white.

This charming doll's bed is in excellent vintage condition. It was well made and is still strudy.

It measures 21 inches long, 10 inches wide and 15 inches high.

Shipping and Insurance: The shipping for this item to the US and Canada is $37.50. Ask for other destinations. Your items will be carefully packed and shipped by French Priority Airmail.

We ship by French Priority Airmail worldwide and although French postal charges went up on March 1, we have not increased our standard shipping charges. We make every effort to charge the actual cost with a tiny percentage for packing and handling, but because the dollar/euro exchange rate constantly flucuates it is impossible to be absolutely precise. Shipping by French Priority Airmail has been 100% reliable so far. Very few of our clients actually request insurance and to date, all the items we have shipped in France and abroad have arrived.

We do add, however, that naturally we cannot be responsible for loss of, or damage to, your un-insured items in transit. Your purchase of the above item assures us that you understand and agree to this policy. But again may I emphasize that we have had 100% success with French shipping and that the majority of our clients do not request insurance.

We wish it were less expensive to ship from France to the US, Canada, Japan and other international destinations, but we charge rates that reflect our actual costs, often-times absorbing some of the shipping costs ourselves. It has been from the beginning, and continues to be, our policy not to profit on shipping charges and to keep them as reasonable as possible.

Returns: We hope, and even expect, that you will be satisfied with your purchase, but if for any reason you are not, please return the item in described condition within 14 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. Shipping costs remain the responsibility of the buyer. So far we have had 100% satisfaction with our items from our other eBay store, French Vintage Linens and Antiques.
