I have put together an incredible collection of fine items that we will begin to offer to ebay all through this month and next. Some incredible pieces as you all know the level we like to have on our site. Please keep an eye out every week for new items I will be listing. I am also going to start listing some other very very fine items. I know you will want to look at them all. we have a very rare and quite spectacular French Faience stoneware Figural blown out molded hand painted gold gilt cobalt blue bird pitcher. I am offering two matching pieces, and this auction is for one. I just cannot say enough about this piece. I have had it for years because I did not want to part with them. The work is "incredible" and I am not just saying this. Each bird and flower is "Blown out" and three dimensional on the piece. A thick layer of glossy glaze covers each one. The attention to detail with respect to each bird is truly amazing. Cobalt blue and gold handles and fine celeste blue bodies. It took someone a long time to paint, mold and fire this piece. all the gold work and detail makes this something quite rare. I have never been able to find the company in France that made them, but a person at Christies told me these might be Rare Rouen Stoneware peices since the bottom clay is dark grey. Deffinately pre-1830 and most likely 1805-20. Just look closely at each one and you will agree they are works of art that are museum quality. Standing almost 6" tall with a diameter of 4" and gold all over. A real old piece with no chips, cracks or repairs. No reserve as always. We accept check or money order (preferred) and also take paypal. We ship Anyw in the world We do not charge a handling fee with shipping. We also do not list the shipping price, because we feel it's unfair just to give a set price, when if you live near us, you should have a cheaper shipping price compared to someone who lives accross the country. We ship Priority and pack very, very good. Insurance is included in all shipping prices. Our prices are very good.
