This auction is for a rare piece of opalescent flint glass, circa 1850, probably French in origin. Six sided, pedestal base, height 2 3/4"; diameter of top 2". Shaped like a miniature spill vase, possibly for toothpicks. Beautiful flint tone when gently tapped. Pattern seems more French than American Sandwich glass, but I don't know. T is a small flake chip on inside rim and base edge roughness as is typical of American sandwich glass. Shipping and insurance $6.50 Email with any questions. Good luck.
