You are bidding on a FRENCH FORIEGN LEGIONNAIRE COMMEMORATIVE SILK SCAR. This was brought back to the States in 1964. This is a glorious 33 ½ in. by 33 ½ in. memorial, French Legionnaire's scarf made possibly of silk. In each corner is printed a major French conflict of the 20 th century: Djibouti, Narvik 1940, Bir-Hakeim 42, and Indochine 46-54 with soldiers in the proper dressed uniform of that era. The various metals of the 13 th regimen are shown in the middle. Please view picture to reveal its excellent condition and colorful details. It is a fine piece for any international military collector that can be encased or worn. History: This scarf came for a French Legionnaire's Regimen in 1964. Please see picture for details.
