This fabulous French console is mounted with one of the nicest carved mirrors.This was removed from a very nice apartment in Italy last week. This dates from the 1920's.This is a very large and stately example and is one on the nicer we have owned.This is a nice 2 piece onyx top console set.This a very nice and stylish French console with original gilding and matching mirror.The table top is original onyx is in excellent condition with wonderful colors. It is quite a nice model with a gilt and shaped mirror and a super 4 legged base with heavy carved skirt and stretcher. The carved woodwork on the skirt and mirror are very heavy and wonderfully pierced carved. This console and mirror is much nicer than most with exceptional carvings and style. It has it's original finish with great patina and has real gold gilt bronze highlights. It consists of a shapely console table with original marble top in super condition and a mounted fancy carved wood gilt mirror. It dates from the 1920's and is French in manufacture. It has its original finish and real gold accents to areas of the fancy detail work. The mirror has a very shapely top with a central fancy openwork carved crest.The console has cabriole legs and a very shapely top.The glass is original and in excellent condition. This is also worked with a very fancy detailed skirt with gilt accents. This is in super condition and original gilt gold finish.. This is a very impressive console with original gilt and the gilt finish is very attractive. It measures 96" tall and 52" wide. The style and finish are great and this is ready for use. Multi functional this would be a grea hallway, bedroom, or foyer item. The shaped mirror has a real French look and nicely shaped top and bottom. This hall console is quite a bit above average in quality and style.
