I believe this is the "Finest" collection of items on ebay with NO reserves. You will be amazed at what I am offering this week.

we have another piece from my personal collection and a piece I could write a book on. I want to start out by saying this is a "Masterpiece" and completely hand painted with "Extreme" precision by a "master" artist. Signed by the "Famous" Japanese artist "Watanabe" and being done on a French large plaque handled tray. This is an old Haviland Limoges plaque. The back is Impressed into the porcelain "Depose 14 1/2 it 83" for 1883 and has a "Rare" H.O. Park 186 Front St. N.Y. "SAKURA" mark raised in gold and red mark. Very very rare and something you will never see again. Obviously made for a very wealthy Japanese client. This entire plaque has raised enamel gold done with unbelievable colors and painted with "Extreme" finest detail that of the best Kutani or Satsuma artist's. Watanabe was considered the best in the Meiji era Japanese artist and they obviously wanted to Fuse the French and Japanese together. It was Japonaise style and was huge in the 1880's-90's. This was shown the president of the Haviland collectors club and three other appraisers who told me this was the "Only" one they had ever seen. Based on this information and supreme quality of workmanship, marks and artist we have appraised this well over $5000.00, and possible much more. I assure you this is a Japonaise masterpiece, right along with the other pieces I am offering this week. The attention to detail is finer than the early export pieces and finer than almost any European artist of the time. They just did not use this type of skill. This had to take much time to make. Every single details is done in hand. You could spend hours (I have) finding new intricacies and hand painted details everyw T is no part of this NOT hand done. T are two central figures. The man seated at the desk and the Samurai standing. Even the Wood grain is hand painted to look like wood. Amazing, and the professionals and Japanese enthusiasts can figure out what is happening in the scene. An important Museum monumental masterpiece. Measuring 12 1/2" long x 8 1/2" wide and 1" off the ground when flat. NO reserve, so that it will find it's true price. Most people cannot believe I do this, but it does find it's true value.
