Genuine French Legion of Honour Medal (Legion D'Honneur) in red box. Inside the box is the makers name Arthus Betrand in Paris. I have no idea how old the decoration is but it would have been made post 1946. There are no chips to the enamel or any other damage I can see. The color of the ribbon and rosette is red. The badge is a five-armed Maltese asterisk hung on an oak and laurel wreath. On the obverse is the effigy of the Republic and on the reverse two tricolor flags surrounded by the motto "Honneur et Patrie" (Honor and Fatherland). Postage I will dispatch using myHermes or Royal Mail and a signature will be needed for delivery.
