Very handsome old French Limoges Enamel Portrait Icon of St Christopher and the Christ Child. Comes from a local Dallas estate, a very advanced collecting family. Signed by the artist as shown "M Cosson" and otherwise unmarked. Guaranteed old and guaranteed real Limoges enamel work and check out the pics and know that you won't be disappointed. CONDITION REPORT: Has **damage** at the two holes on either side of the piece shown in the pics. Damage is at the holes only; the central field is not affected. Otherwise, light surface wear only, nothing concerning. I think most buyers will probably be happier if they have this framed to conceal the damage. To assist you in doing that, I am icluding with this lot a small vintage wooden fraame that I have that is about the right size and shape for this and you will only need to select a mat [see pics#10 through #12]. SIZE: Limoges enamel piece measures about 2.75" across including the damaged area. Circular central field with the portraits of St. Christopher and the Christ Child [and the Cosson signature] measures about 1.5" across. Frame that I am including with this lot measures about 3.5" across [image opening] and about 5.75" across overall. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE: I strive for excellent customer service. In almost every instance, items ship within 48 hours of receipt of cleared payment. I offer a "no questions asked" return policy [buyer responsible for shipping, see details below]. Please review my Feedback Stars and Comments and my Years on eBay Info and buy with confidence. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING BY EXPRESS MAIL ONLY/I DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY BY ANY METHOD EXCEPT USPS EXPRESS: International buyers are always welcome and I'm happy to ship worldwide. Please note, based on many years experience with international shipping, I ship by *exclusively* USPS Express Airmail because, in my experience, this is by far the best method in terms of ensuring timely and safe delivery of your purchases worldwide. If you are an international buyer, please bid knowing that I will not consider any type of shipping method except USPS Express. Please do not bid "anyway" and then ask me to ship by a different method (I'm unable to reply to these types of requests and will refer them to eBay). I'm happy to work with Buyers to ensure that customs paperwork is filled out in a correct and acceptable manner (please let me know any special needs you have at time of purchase), but customs fees and import duty/taxes are Buyer's sole responsibility. International Buyers, please only bid if these terms and conditions are acceptable to you. FEDEX GROUND/PARCEL POST: Depending on the final size/weight/destination address of your item, I many substitute FedEx Ground for my standard shipping method of US Parcel Post. Please let me know **at time of purchase** if it is important to you that I use one or the other of these methods. RETURNS: Please check my feedback and buy with confidence, However, if disappointed for any reason, I take returns with *no questions asked*. Cash refund ***less shipping*** with no questions asked if returned within 7 days in same condition. Please note, I'm always able to accept a return, but shipping both ways is ***non-refundable*** under all circumstances as forthrightly stated and please bid/buy accordingly. All my items are vintage and antique estate pieces and buying used estate goods sight unseen over the 'net carries with it certain fairly obvious risks that your opinions regarding quality and condition might differ from mine or that you simply might not like an item as well as you thought you would after you see it in person. Shipping is a real expense incurred by seller that enables you to examine items in your home for up to a week with full return privileges. Buyer's sole recourse under any circumstance is a cash refund less shipping if the item is returned in same condition within 7 days. Returns are fine but shipping is non-refundable. Your purchase is a contract and please don't bid/buy if these terms w...
